Il calcestruzzo viene sommerso dalla resina, che ricopre la superficie lasciandone trasparire la materia, come se fosse il lago. E i pigmenti, all’interno della mescola, trasformano la resina trasparente nei colori dell’acqua nelle differenti stagioni e orari della giornata"

La panca Cala del duo di designer di Como (CO) Draga &Aurel, è realizzata in resina e calcestruzzo Ductal®, ed è un chiaro esempio di come questo sia un materiale di grande bellezza se usato nel modo giusto.

"These resin and concrete benchs look like stolen portions of the seabed. The technique we use makes this concept in a poetic way with a unique style in the use of materials. A factor that distinguishes us in our approach to the design of all our collections and in particular of Transparency Matters. The concrete is submerged by resin, which covers the surface letting the matter shine through, as if it were the lake. And the pigments, inside the compound, transform the transparent resin in the colors of water in the different seasons and times of the day"
